Phase Three
If heat, pressure, or fluids are applied to the Igneous Rock, then it will form into a Metamorphic Rocks [To learn more about Metamorphic Rocks see the "Foliated and Non-Foliated Metamorphic Rocks]. If the Igneous Rock becomes weathered and eroded then it will become sediment.
Look at the picture to the left. This is pumice, an Igneous Rock.Now look at the picture below. Phyllite is an example of metamorphic rocks.
