Sedimentary Rocks: Chemical and Bioochemcial
Chemical/Biochemcial sedimentary rocks form when dissolved substances precipitate, or separate from water solution. This rain normally happens when the water evaporates or boils off leaving a solid product. Limestone, Rock Salt, Flint, and Gypsum are examples of Chemical/Biochemical Rocks. Our example picture, Shale, is a Chemical sedimentary rock.
